Consolidated Freightways, Palo Alto, and Air Express International reported that an agreement has been reached among all parties to settle litigation arising out of the termination in August, 1983, of the proposed merger between AEI and a CF unit . . . The Agriculture Department reported that cattle being fed for the consumer market as of Feb. 1 in the seven major beef states totaled 8.17 million head, a 3% increase from a year ago . . .
