Fund Drive Over the Top:The Cypress College Foundation has surpassed its $50,000 fund-raising goal, collecting $59,000 to buy instructional computers. The money came from 530 supporters who attended a $100-a-plate dinner at the 10th Anniversary Americana Night at the Anaheim Hilton and Towers. Among the honored guests were Donald Karcher, president and chief executive officer of Carl Karcher Enterprises, whom the group named Man of the Year for his community and philanthropic service.
