UC Irvine Women Beat Santa Barbara

The UC Irvine women’s basketball team defeated UC Santa Barbara, 83-65, in Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. play Monday.

The Anteaters were led by senior guard Vickie Simpson’s 16 points. Forward Dorothy Lewis added 15 points and 7 rebounds for UCI (6-1, 20-5). The Gauchos fell to 3-5, 11-14.
