Schwab unveiled a home stock quote service.

San Francisco-based Charles Schwab & Co., a leading discount broker, joined a few other discount brokerages in offering electronic stock quote and financial information services to personal-computer users. The service will enable at-home investors to conduct research, obtain up-to-the-minute stock quotes and financial news, review their accounts, plan budgets, estimate taxes and make stock trades.
