A dispute that Los Angeles police said may have involved cocaine left two men dead and two others wounded. Detective J. D. Furr said Dwayne Freirson, 23, was slain and his brother, Freddie, 38, critically wounded as they struggled with Robert Randel, 38, for possession of a handgun at an apartment house in South Los Angeles. Hours later, Randel was shot to death, and a friend, John Harrell, 37, was wounded as they stood in the driveway of a house several blocks from the scene of the earlier shooting. Freddie Freirson was later reported in critical condition at County-Martin Luther King Jr. Medical Center; Harrell was released from California Hospital Medical Center after treatment for a minor gunshot wound.
