Lazers End Streak With a 7-2 Win at Pittsburgh

The Los Angeles Lazers of the Major Indoor Soccer League snapped a three-game losing streak Sunday as they beat the Pittsburgh Spirit, 7-2, at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh.
Lazer forward Greg Ion scored the first goal of his hat-trick on an assist by forward Willie Molano with 7:15 left in the second period to give the Lazers a 3-0 lead going into the third period.
Molano and forward Poli Garcia each had two assists.
The Lazers opened a 6-0 lead before the Spirit finally got on the board in the third period on a short-handed goal by Kevin Maher.
