Local News in Brief : Stabbed Man Found in Forest Is Identified
Sheriff’s Department homicide investigators have identified a body discovered Wednesday in the Angeles National Forest north of Lakeview Terrace as that of Charles Robert DeBarr, Lt. Doyle Davidson said.
Detectives have not discovered an address or occupation for DeBarr, however, and only know that he was 20 to 25 years old, Davidson said.
DeBarr’s body was discovered in a deep ravine off Little Tujunga Road, one mile north of Foothill Boulevard, Davidson said. Coroner’s investigators said he died of multiple stab wounds.
