Del Monte Corp., which bought Canada Dry and Sunkist beverage operations last year, will move its soft drink unit from New York to Atlanta this summer. Two new officers were named.

Tarlton Pittard, formerly senior vice president of finance for Sunkist soft drinks, was named vice president-finance for the unit. Jack Leffingwell, previously senior vice president-research and development for Sunkist, was named vice president of technical services for Del Monte Franchise Beverage Products.

John W. Argabright will continue as president of Franchise Beverage Products and group vice president for San Francisco-based Del Monte.
