Collins Foods International Inc., Los Angeles, has acquired Link Food Services Pty. Ltd., which operates 10 restaurants in Australia. Collins already operates a chain of Kentucky Fried Chicken outlets there and plans expansion of its other restaurant chains, including Sizzler steak houses and Gino’s pizzerias.
Warner Computer Systems Inc. of Teaneck, N.J., will supply data storage and retrieval for Charles Schwab & Co.’s newly announced home-computer brokerage service. Terms weren’t disclosed. Schwab, based in Los Angeles, is a unit of BankAmerica Corp.
National Medical Enterprises Inc., Los Angeles, announced that its Psychiatric Institute of America unit has begun building two psychiatric hospitals for a total investment of $10 million. The facilities will be in Texarkana, Ark., and Alexandria, La.
Separately, NME said its Camdem Corp. subsidiary is launching long-term-care hospitals in Beverly, Mass., and Carrollton, Tex. The projects are valued at $10 million.
Duarte-based Conrac Corp. said its Alston division has received two contracts for telephone call management systems from British Telecom in London. The award is worth $3.2 million.
Corona Data Systems Inc. of Thousand Oaks signed an agreement with Arrow Electronics Inc., New York, in which Arrow will distribute Corona’s line of IBM PC-compatible products.
Logicon Inc., Los Angeles, received a $4.2-million Air Force contract to study military warning systems.
Los Angeles-based Whittaker Corp. has acquired the business and certain assets of International Diagnostic Technology Inc. of San Jose for undisclosed terms.
Robins Engineers & Constructors, Whittier, a division of Litton Systems Inc., has received a multimillion-dollar contract to design, supply and install a coal-handling conveyor system for Nerco Mining Co. at its Antelope Mine in Douglas, Wyo.
POS Data Corp., a Pasadena-based producer of restaurant-management control systems, has been acquired by Decision Data Computer Corp. of Horsham, Pa. Terms were not disclosed. POS was renamed Decision Restaurant Systems Corp.

Oakland-based Clorox Co. is selling its 75% share in Sunpole-Clorox Co. Ltd. of Japan to the original Japanese owners. Terms were not disclosed.
Advanced Computer Communications, Santa Barbara, has received a $3.7-million contract from the Department of Defense to supply computer communication networks.
Signal Cos., La Jolla, said its M.W. Kellogg Co. unit received a $9-million contract to modify an ammonia plant in Sterling, La., for International Minerals & Chemicals Corp. Additionally, Signal announced that the Signal Energy Systems unit will build a $30-million cogeneration plant at Sherman Lumber Co. operations in Penobscot County, Me.
As part of its expansion in the Pacific Basin, San Mateo-based URS Corp. has acquired Designers Gallery, a Singapore firm.
