Housing Complaint Investigators Needed
The Fair Housing Council of San Gabriel Valley is seeking volunteers to investigate complaints of illegal housing discrimination.
A training session will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Alhambra City Library at 410 W. Main St. to prepare volunteers to act as prospective tenants. They will be taught to check reports of discrimination based on race, sex, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, marital status, student status and physical disability.
Volunteers may sign up for the session by calling the Fair Housing Council in Baldwin Park.
