Bill Would Aid Veterans Exposed to Radiation

WASHINGTON — A bill to provide disability benefits for about 250,000 veterans exposed to radiation during atomic testing and the occupation of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was introduced Wednesday by Sen. Paul Simon (D-Ill.) and Rep. Lane Evans (D-Ill.).
