The recount of all 233,500 ballots in a southern Indiana district “is now proceeding,” a task force leader announced--a milestone in trying to settle the only unresolved House race--and the recount is expected to take 10 days to two weeks. The district’s seat in the House has been held vacant since Jan. 3 because of disagreements over who won--Republican Rick McIntyre or one-term Democrat Frank McCloskey.
