Verit Industries, Sun Valley, said its wholly owned subsidiary, Talone Packing Co., a meatpacker, entered into an agreement to sell a substantial portion of its assets to Fullerton-based North County Packing Co., a private company, for about $3.1 million, including $2.5 million in cash and the balance in notes.
