A man who may have stolen gold at 27 dental offices in Silicon Valley and Marin County this year has been arrested, Sunnyvale police said. Nineteen burglaries of dental offices were committed in Sunnyvale, and eight dental offices were burglarized in Marin County, Sunnyvale Police Lt. Bob Seely said. Police in other Bay Area cities were checking with authorities in Marin County to see if Frederick Nolan, 40, of Redwood City could have been responsible for any similar burglaries in those cities. A dental office burglary in Novato, a description of a suspect’s vehicle and a high-speed chase led to Nolan’s arrest Feb. 24 by San Rafael police, Seely said.
