FCA’s 1984 results were delayed again

The nation’s largest savings and loan holding company, parent of American Savings & Loan Assn., said it would not release its 1984 earnings until Monday morning. The Irvine-based firm previously had promised to divulge the figures in late February, then again on Friday. A spokeswoman said bank officials were “scurrying” to produce the earnings report. FCA announced earlier this month that it expected to post a loss of between $500 million and $700 million for 1984.
