2 Pull Out of City Attorney Race
Deputy City Attys. Betsy Mogul and Charles Zinger today announced they are withdrawing from the race for Los Angeles city attorney and endorsing City Controller James Hahn for the post.
Mogul and Zinger, who have trailed badly in polls, threw their support to Hahn at a Los Angeles Press Club news conference. They said that the front-running Hahn, as a former deputy city attorney, understands the job much better than his closest rival, attorney Lisa Specht. Also in the race in next Tuesday’s election is attorney Murray Kane.
