The new, $3.5-million, 28,600-square-foot Fountain Valley police facility has been dedicated at 10200 Slater St., adjacent to the City Hall. It was designed by architect James Karl Robinson, with interiors by Hallisey-Tichy Commercial Interiors.
The new structure has 146 rooms, including offices, squad room, interrogation rooms and a nine-cell holding area as well as underground parking. It is expected to meet the city’s needs through the year 2000.
