Chemed Unit Agrees to Purchase Easterday Assets

CINCINNATI —
Chemed Corp. said its wholly owned subsidiary National Sanitary Supply Co. has agreed to purchase the business and substantially all the operating assets of Easterday Supply Co., a subsidiary of American Building Maintenance Industries.
Terms weren’t disclosed.
Chemed said Easterday, a San Francisco-based janitorial-supplies distributor, had sales of about $20 million in 1984.
The proposed acquisition is subject to a definitive agreement and approval by directors of both companies.
