Thousand Oaks Community to Show Models

Hidden Canyon Westlake community, Griffin Homes’ 650-unit project at the intersection of Via Colinas and Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks, will begin showing furnished models today.

With 186 homes already sold during an extensive preview period, the focus of this opening will be on 98 homes being made available to low- and moderate-income buyers, under the city of Thousand Oaks’ Affordable Housing Outreach Program.

Included in this phase are 32 two-bedroom condominium units known as the Arbors and 66 two-bedroom town houses in the Gardens complex. First move-ins are scheduled for May.

Priced from $86,440 to $119,950, the Arbors features a choice of six plans, ranging from 852 to 1,283 square feet, each with private balcony or patio, a one-car garage plus a carport.

The Gardens, where prices range from $121,400 to $136,950, four two-story plans offer between 1,192 and 1,254 square feet, and feature vaulted ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, tile entries, two-car garages.

Shared amenities include recreation centers, swimming pools and spas, covered by a homeowners’ monthly fee of $89.31. The project is open weekends and Mondays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays from 2 to 9 p.m.
