The Region : Man Trapped for Night in Wrecked Car
A car plunged 75 feet over the side of an isolated road in the Santa Monica Mountains, trapping a man inside all night until a passer-by spotted the wreckage and called rescue officials, authorities said. The man, whose name and address were not immediately released, was pulled from the car and flown by helicopter to Westlake Hospital with unknown injuries, Sheriff’s Deputy Ronald Sanner said. The car was spotted off the side of Latigo Canyon Road near Kanan Dume Road, which links the coast north of Malibu to Agoura.
