Douglas M. Haney was named president of Nelco Products Inc. of Fullerton, replacing E. Philip Smoot. Smoot has been promoted to the post of president of Park Electrochemical Corp.’s electronic businesses group. Nelco, a manufacturer of laminates for the printed circuit industry, is a subsidiary of New York-based Park Electrochemical.

Haney, 45, formerly was executive vice president of Lamination Technology Inc. of Santa Ana and was an executive with various E.I. Dupont de Nemours divisions.
