The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) will recognize a new church April 28, the first kind of its denomination--the Vietnamese Presbyterian Church of Orange County.
The Rev. Nguyen Nam Hai will be installed as organizing pastor by George Johnson, moderator for Los Ranchos Presbytery, at 3 p.m. at the church, 11832 Euclid St., Garden Grove, site of the First Presbyterian Church of Garden Grove. Seven other members will be installed as elders.
Hai was educated at Nha Trang Bible College in Vietnam and at the San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo.
