Single-Family Home Sales Up

WASHINGTON — Sales of existing single-family homes rose in March to the highest level in more than four years, the National Assn. of Realtors said today. The annual sales rate of 3.05 million units recorded last month was the highest since November, 1980, it said, and 5.9% higher than February’s rate. Declining interest rates were credited.
