A Palos Verdes Peninsula man convicted of paying a teen-ager $1,500 to murder his girlfriend’s husband should spend the rest of his life in prison without possibility of parole, a Torrance Superior Court jury decided. George Lucev, 22, will be sentenced May 31 by Judge Edward A. Hinz Jr. The prosecutor said jurors told him they spared Lucev’s life because they believed his girlfriend, Donna Jelenic, 40, of Rancho Palos Verdes, was the moving force behind the murder plot.
