Two ranking French Cabinet ministers flew to the Arab world Saturday.

Premier Laurent Fabius arrived in Rabat, Morocco, on a 48-hour official visit. His talks will focus on economic issues. France is by far the North African nation’s most important trading partner.

Meanwhile, External Relations Minister Roland Dumas flew to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he is expected to discuss the Mideast situation--particularly Lebanon and the Palestinians--with King Fahd and the Saudi foreign minister, Prince Saud al Faisal.

A French Embassy spokesman said he does not know whether military-supply issues will be included in the talks.
