IBM introduced two-low cost desk-top printers.

The printers produce graphics and near letter-quality text for personal computers, the firm said. IBM added that its Proprinter costs $549 and prints at three speeds. The company said the IBM color Jetprinter costs $745 and is designed for those who want to incorporate up to seven colors into charts, graphs, spreadsheets or high-quality text. The Proprinter will attach to the entire IBM Personal Computer family and other leading personal computers, the company said. The firm said it also introduced four new models of the IBM 4245 band printer.
