The City Council has appointed Ronald Lederman to the Traffic and Parking Commission, replacing retiring Commissioner Chester Firestein, who has served since 1977.

The commission works closely with the Police and Transportation departments to improve traffic conditions in the city. Lederman is a certified public accountant.

The City Council also appointed Edie Amos to the city’s Solicitations Advisory Commission, replacing retiring commissioner Mary Dohn. The commission evaluates groups seeking police permits to solicit funds in the city. Amos has been a resident of Beverly Hills for 20 years, and has been active in many community, educational and cultural organizations.
