Ronald G. Wells has been named senior vice president of business development for CPE Engineers Inc., formerly VTN Corp., the Irvine engineering firm announced Wednesday. Wells has been with CPE for 22 years in a number of engineering and management positions. His promotion followed an announcement by the company, which had not shown a profit year since 1980, that it was once again profitable.
