The Honduran government protested to Nicaragua an attack on a Honduran border patrol in which one soldier was killed and said the incident could worsen already chilly relations. A military spokesman said Nicaraguan soldiers ambushed the 10-man patrol three miles inside Honduran territory Friday, seriously wounding four soldiers in addition to killing the one. The attack was the third reported in a week.
