Judaism University to Award Degrees

The University of Judaism will award degrees to 29 students May 20 at its 35th annual commencement exercises in Gindi Auditorium on the campus at 15600 Mulholland Drive.

At the 3:30 p.m. event Allen Ziegler, longtime university supporter, will be inducted into the University of Judaism Society of Fellows and Rabbi Jacob Pressman, spiritual leader of Temple Beth Am, will receive a doctor of humane letters degree.

Others to be honored include Arthur Hoffnung and Nathan Volk, who will receive the Mordecai M. Kaplan Medal for Distinguished Service for their work for the university.
