A 6-year-old witness testifying in the McMartin Pre-School molestation hearing asked to speak to the judge privately about her fear of “someone” in the courtroom. Municipal Judge Aviva K. Bobb met for several minutes with the child, the prosecutor and a representative of the defense team in chambers, but details of the meeting were not disclosed.
