8 Injured in Fire Aboard Scrapped Ship

TAIPEI —
Eight people were injured in a fire aboard a Greek tanker being dismantled in the southern Taiwan port of Kaohsiung, police said Friday.
They said the blaze on teh 19,597-ton Irini M.11 broke out Thursday afternoon and raged for more than three hours before it was controlled.
