Equitable Life will test insurance sales at B of A.

Bank of America and Equitable Life Assurance Society said that Equitable will offer individual life, health and annuity insurance products to consumers in a pilot program starting this summer at four bank branches in Stanford, Palo Alto, San Mateo and Burlingame, as well as through direct mail to bank customers. The insurance facilities will be staffed by Equitable agents, company spokesmen said.
