Thousands Line Up for 15 Jobs
About 2,000 people lined up at Burbank City Hall today seeking applications for 10 to 15 firefighter openings with pay starting at $2,200 a month. The first 1,000 applicants will receive a written test, and those who pass will proceed to a two-day agility test and an oral exam, said city administrative analyst Joanne Luther.
