OK, Dodgers, Now It’s Your Move

Share

I am a Dodger-hater transplanted here, but because of my greater distaste of seeing baseball poorly run, I have some simple advice.

The Dodgers have someone who can hit and play third in Bill Russell. He has two fairly good years left, so they could use him until they can come up with a third baseman. Guerrero could move to left and Oliver to first. This will be a better defensive and a much better offensive unit. Use Brock, Anderson and Welch to get Buddy Bell, a future great at third. When Oliver retires, move Marshall in for the rest of his career.

Just one thing. If you do this and go on to win the pennant, please don’t tell anyone back in St. Louis that I suggested it.
