Bodies of a man and woman found in two large suitcases in the desert near Victorville were identified as those of a Baldwin Park couple, authorities said. The names were withheld pending notification of relatives. The man was said to be 45 years old and his wife was believed to be in her 30s. They were last seen by neighbors on May 23. San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies said they were found by two target shooters about 16 miles north of Victorville and more than two miles southwest of Interstate 15. Autopsies were conducted, but the cause of death was not disclosed.
