West Hollywood
Concepts for the city’s rent control law and the hiring of additional sheriff’s deputies are among the topics on the agenda for tonight’s City Council meeting.
The city is scheduled to take over most county services or contract with the county for a continuation of services on July 1. The council last week approved a contract to continue police service from the sheriff’s department.
At the request of Mayor Valerie Terrigno, the council tonight will discuss whether to pay for more sheriff’s deputies.
The City Council meets at 7 p.m. in the West Hollywood Park auditorium.
