The Region : Police Free Six Hostages in Buena Park
Six employees held hostage at a Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet in Buena Park were freed by police from Anaheim and Buena Park, police said, after officers were alerted to a robbery and surrounded the restaurant. The hostages were set free without a shot being fired, authorities said, and police were searching for a second person believed to have taken part in the incident. Two Buena Park SWAT teams were involved in the two-hour drama.
