A 16-year-old Tarzana youth charged with robbing an Encino savings and loan office along with a high school classmate was charged Friday with another bank robbery and one count of auto theft, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office announced.

Michael Scott Morrison, a Taft High School student, was charged with one robbery count stemming from the Jan. 3 robbery of $1,200 from a Barclays Bank in Tarzana. The other count stems from an alleged May 29 theft at gunpoint of a Pontiac Firebird.

Morrison and co-defendant Mark Daniel Berman, also 16, were arrested on four felony bank robbery charges stemming from the May 23 armed robbery of an Encino Savings and Loan Association. Police said more than $4,000 was taken by two youths dressed as police officers.
