A Place to Look for the Good-Looking Alleys
- Share via
I would like to compliment Sam Hall Kaplan on his article, “Improvement Up His Alleys.” As a realtor and person involved in remodeling/home improvement as a hobby, I see the benefit derived by the homeowner for personal use and increased potential resale value with landscaping, not only in the front, but at the rear of the property.
These areas have quite often been neglected, although we at the beach are seeing a slow improvement as some of our properties front on back streets known as Place streets. As for example, 12th Place.
I have noticed that the beautiful city of Laguna Beach has a lot of alleys that are landscaped, including the addition of trees.
Articles like yours stimulate interest for the homeowner and help the vibration of the city as well.
