Three MGM Grand stockholders sued Kerkorian.

In a class-action suit, Leila Sorell of Los Angeles asked a Delaware court to block the financier’s proposed $126-million offer for the 30% stock interest that he does not already own. The suit accused Kirk Kerkorian and MGM Grand’s directors of “a fraudulent plan . . . to freeze out the public shareholders . . . at a grossly inadequate price” of $18 a share. Two other suits making similar allegations were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on behalf of Samuel Leanza and Irving Mariash. The defendants had no immediate comment.
