Marc Schramm, a Hughes Aircraft Co. administrative assistant, has been appointed to the board of trustees of the 1,200-student Wiseburn Elementary School District. He will complete the unexpired term of Thomas Bigelow, who resigned last month after 17 years on the board. Bigelow, a retired Hawthorne police lieutenant, plans to move from the area.
The board selected Schramm, a former physical education teacher in the San Marino school district, from 14 applicants. He will be up for election to the post in November. Wiseburn trustees serve without pay.
