Sometimes it really does take a thief to catch a thief--or at least to help the police. West Covina police arrested 26-year-old Roberta Sikoff of Culver City on suspicion of robbing the Home Savings Bank of an undisclosed amount of cash. They said the robbery suspect dashed outside to make her getaway on a 10-speed bicycle, which she had stolen earlier. But Officer Andy Hischer said the robber was captured and the money recovered just outside the bank because while she was inside holding up the place, another thief had stolen the bike on which she had planned to make her getaway.
