Navarro Outrides Field to Win Spanish Cycling

VALLADOLID, Spain —
Jose Luis Navarro won the 84th Spanish road cycling championship Sunday.
Navarro covered the 147 miles in a time of 5 hours, 48 minutes and 14 seconds, at an average speed of 25 miles per hour. Pello Ruiz Cabestany was second and Javier Castellar finished third in a field of 102.
