Plea for Skateboarding Facilities

I am a 15-year-old boy living in Huntington Beach. I enjoy skateboarding very much. There is nowhere my friends and I can skateboard on a ramp. None of our parents will allows us to construct one in our yards because of the noise and the possibility of injury.

There really should be a place where boys and girls of my age can skateboard on a ramp. I think that the city should construct well-built ramps in the community parks and centers.

In this way, skateboarding, as a sport, will be able to flourish. Skateboarding is a good and wholesome activity, and it would keep many kids in their teens out of trouble.
