Man Told to Repay Holdup Loot

A former Rockwell International executive has been given five years probation for accepting $200,000 of the $2.7 million his daughter helped steal from a bank.

U.S. District Judge Howard McKibben on Friday also ordered Don Pollock, 52, to pay the money back.

Pollock’s role in receiving money taken from the April, 1984, robbery at a Nevada National Bank branch surfaced in January when his daughter, Janice Krebs, and an accomplice testified at the trial of a third person. All three are serving prison terms.

Krebs said she stuffed the money into a locker at Los Angeles International Airport and mailed her father the key. About $1 million is still missing.

Pollock pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing stolen money.
