Work Under Way on $3-Million Department Store

Construction is under way on the $3-million Price Club, a 96,000-square-foot warehouse-membership department store that is being called “the first major project to come about as the result of Pomona’s aggressive new economic development campaign.”

The structure, on a 10-acre site in downtown Pomona at 2001 S. Garey Ave., is the first Price Club to open in the Pomona Valley area and the fourth to open in Los Angeles County. Other Price Clubs in Southern California are in Azusa, Burbank, Cerritos, Inglewood, Colon and Fullerton.
