Men Hospitalized After Crash: Two men were injured after the car in which they were riding struck two parked vehicles, police said Tuesday. The driver, Richard Gliddon, 19, of Corona, was listed in critical condition at UCI Medical Center in Orange with head and internal injuries, while Daniel Fernandez, 18, of Anaheim, was in serious condition, also with head and internal injuries, said Sgt. Jack Jansen. A 17-year-old male passenger, also from Corona, suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at the medical center, he said. Police said Gliddon was apparently driving at a high rate of speed when his 1970 Firebird veered and struck a van and truck parked in the 2400 block of East La Palma Avenue about midnight Monday.
