Chargers Sign Rookies Lewis and Adams to Series of One-Year Contracts

The Chargers have announced the signings of two rookies--defensive back Terry Lewis and running back Curtis Adams--to a series of one-year contracts.

Lewis, a 5-foot 11-inch, 195-pound cornerback, is a sixth-round draft pick out of Michigan State.

Adams, an eighth-round pick, set a Mid-American Conference record by rushing for 43 touchdowns during his four-year career at Central Michigan. The 6-foot, 195-pound Adams rushed for 1,204 yards in 222 carries as a senior.
