From a Times Staff Writer

Neil Reagan, the President’s older brother, said Saturday that he had a malignant colon tumor removed on July 3.

“I had the same identical operation that he (the President) had,” Reagan, 76, said in a telephone interview from his home in Rancho Santa Fe. “I was home on the fifth day after the operation. He’s not going to be any different than me.”

Neil Reagan, a retired advertising executive, said his doctor had given him the “all clear” sign, meaning that there was no more evidence of cancer in his colon.
